Regional products as drivers of development in the Alps
Forum ALP’24 international conference on 8 November 2024, 10:00 am–7:00 pm, in Stans, Switzerland
The Alpine region boasts a huge treasure trove of regional products and culinary traditions. We must protect, nurture and keep these traditions alive and promote sustainable development.
The forum will focus on the topic of ‘Regional products as drivers of development in the Alps’. The forum is dedicated to issues of sustainable development in the Alpine regions.
The forum is directed towards agricultural, processing and commercial enterprises, regional development and tourism professionals, the catering and hotel industry, agricultural knowledge intermediaries, industry associations and the public sector.
With the forum, we offer a unique platform for discussion and a network for stakeholders in the Alpine countries who are interested in regional and cross-border dialogue and cooperation.
As part of the forum, the ‘Cercle régional’ award will also be presented to a nominated region that distinguishes itself through the sustainable development of regional value chains. The independent expert jury focuses on committed regions that have successfully linked production and gastronomy/hotels with regional products.
